Booking Your Front/Back Piece or Sleeve with Francesco Ferrara

Considering a front or back piece, or a sleeve project with Francesco? Here’s everything you need to know before booking.

Project Timeline & Sessions

  • Front/Back Pieces: Typically require 5 to 6 sessions.
  • Sleeve Projects: Generally need 7 to 8 sessions.
  • Session count varies based on the size and complexity of your design.
  • Each session lasts approximately 3 to 4  hours and is scheduled once per month to allow optimal healing between appointments.

For clients traveling long distances to California, back-to-back sessions are available to maximize efficiency and reduce travel costs.

Booking & Pricing

  • To receive a cost estimate, including session fees and the deposit required to secure your booking, please contact Francesco via DM on Instagram.
  • Once booked, Francesco will reach out 2 to 3 months before your first session to discuss project details, including:
    • Your design ideas (if any).
    • Reference images or examples of his past work that inspire you.
    • A clear photo of the area to be tattooed for proper design adaptation.
    • Confirmation of all scheduled sessions.

Appointment Policy

  • Commitment to scheduled appointments is crucial. Due to high demand, rescheduling may delay project completion by over a year.
  • If you need to reschedule, you can join Francesco’s Broadcast Channel for potential last-minute openings.
  • If you are unable to attend a session, please notify Francesco via Instagram DM at least 30 days in advance to retain your deposit.
  • Francesco will always do his best to accommodate changes when possible.

Numbing Cream

The use of numbing cream is permitted and welcomed, provided that clients apply it themselves prior to their appointment. Numbing cream can provide significant benefits for large projects, particularly for extensive work such as front pieces or backpieces.

Application Process
To ensure proper use and effectiveness, please follow these steps:

  1. Shower and shave the desired area.

  2. Apply the cream approximately 1 hour before your appointment (you may apply it yourself or have someone assist you, ideally using gloves to avoid contamination).

  3. Wrap the area with plastic film (saran wrap) to keep the cream in place.

  4. Secure the wrap with tape (medical wrap is recommended).

Deposit & Rescheduling Policy 💸

  • A deposit is required to confirm your appointment, typically processed via Zelle or Vemno Please ensure you are prepared before booking.
  • Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. 
  • To reschedule, a minimum of 30 days’ notice is required. This allows Francesco to offer the earliest available date while preserving your deposit.
  • While each situation is unique, Francesco will do his best to accommodate your needs and availability.
